Originally from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, John attended Chippewa Valley Technical College and received his A.S. in Business Administration and Management. Throughout his time in college, John gained experience as a sushi chef which ultimately brought him and his expertise to Minnesota.
John first started with Innerbloom as an Assistant General Manager for SotaRol Asian Kitchen. His dedication, extensive knowledge of sushi, menu development, and ability to be a well-rounded and respected leader brought him to the Corporate Manager role.
John’s passion to train and develop in addition to working closely with our teams helps him easily oversee Innerbloom’s Yumi’s Sushi Bar and SotaRol Asian Kitchen concepts.
